Chapter 7: Hidden Treasures
I really had fun with this page, I must say! It’s not overly complicated, but the atmosphere feels really good. Mana and I had been talking about this part of the comic for AGES, so it’s nice to finally put a visual to what we had in mind oh so long ago (GEE, we’ve been doing this comic for over 5 years already!) And we’ve hardly even gotten into the plot yet X_X Yikes. I suppose this page is a good metaphor for it, the surface of this rock was only the tip of the iceberg to what lay beneath. This also rings true with where we are at with this story!
It is impossible to look at this page and not burst out singing Under the Sea. Believe me, I tried so hard.
